He looks so pleased with his Mommy for doing this to him. Say, "Merry Yule," Frankie! MEOW! (help me!)

Fur Baby with his Grandpa
For a man who claims to hate animals, animals sure love him! Sorry Dad!
Frankie loves his Grandpa! My father's face clearly expresses his feelings towards his grandson . . .

Fur Baby Friday (a little late - sorry!)
Frankie (the Siamese) gets most of the attention of these Fur Baby posts. I'll have to work harder to catch Marty in acts of cuteness. It's just difficult when all the little one does is sleep!
Frankie plays with Marty's favorite toy - the carrot!

A Patriotic Fur Baby
- Hail to the chief, who in triumph advances,
- Honored and bless'd be the evergreen pine!
- Long may the tree in his banner that glances,
- Flourish, the shelter and grace of our line.
- My posts may or may not happen this weekend as the hubby and I are headed to Buffalo, NY for a wedding. Hooray for 8 hour+ car rides! I'm going to be taking tons of pictures of the beautiful landscape while we're away and since water is my power element, I plan on making the trip to Niagara Falls before we come home on Sunday. I'll be bring my laptop with me, so I will attempt to post. I don't want to fall back into lazy habits.

Fur Baby Fridays
Mommy! I made a fort!
I can even blend in with the pillows, see? I'm camouflage kitty!
I don't have the heart to tell him that we can see him in there.

Fur baby Fridays
My parents gave my husband and me a new digital camera for our 2 year anniversary. I'd been putting off buying a new one for a long time, but I'm very thankful for this camera. It is the first camera I've had to have a "pets" setting. No more evil red eye on my kitties!
So, finally, everyone gets to see Frankie and all of his blue eyed wonder. Notice how nicely he poses to have his picture taken!

Guest Fur Baby: Tommy
I've mentioned a few times that I live with my Mom and since it's Mother's Day, I thought I'd post some pictures of her cat: Tommy. We've had Tommy since he was about 3 days old. No one was sure if he would live because we had to feed him with an eyedropper when he first came to us and he was so very tiny. Well, 7 years later, he's 22lbs of orange fat cat. My husband peered into the kitchen a little while ago and saw this:
I, of course, had to add a prop and take another photo from the front:
Doesn't he just look overjoyed to have his photo taken?

Happy Mother's Day (again) from Tommy the cat.

A Fur Baby Tuesday
Well, I haven't been able to take any great pictures of the kitties until today. It's been so rainy and all they've been doing is sleep. So, today both of the boys went outside to play:
They sniffed some of the plants:
And then thought about sniffing some other plants:
And played near the hose:
And attempted to hide behind a bush:
And we also hid under the bench:
Such silly fur babies!

Marty finds a friend
My husband and I have been living with my parents for a little over a year now with our two cats, Frankie and Marty. My mother has two pets of her own, Belle (a Shetland Sheepdog) and Tommy (a HUGE, orange cat). My Siamese, Frankie, does not particularly care for Tommy or Belle, but Marty loves the two of them. Marty is also a very shy kitty, so catching a picture of him for my Friday postings has been a bit of a challenge. However, Marty and Belle had a snuggle-fest a few days ago and I was able to snap a picture of the two of them.
I'm hoping that one day, all four of them will be sleeping together on the couch. Knowing my Siamese, it will have to be a blue moon or some other rare cosmic occasion before that happens.

More Slut Cat
I know I haven't been posting much of Marty lately, but Frankie (aka Slut Cat) has really been hamming it up for the camera. The hubby caught Slut Cat like this early one morning and snapped the picture before he left for work:
This cat really needs to get a job!

Fur Baby Fridays!
It's Friday and I think the fur children knew it because last night Frankie was being extra adorable. I'll post a few pictures because he's done this a few times.
My father was getting ready a buisness trip and Frankie felt it would be appropriate if he adorned the bag with himself. I must also explain that my father is not a fan of animals. He merely tolerates them living in his home. Frankie is very lucky that my Dad was at a meeting and didn't see him laying on his freshly packed bag.

Frankie was not pleased that I was taking his photo. Look at those demon blue eyes!
This is not the first time he's tried to pack himself either:
No suitcase is safe when Frankie is around!

Fur Baby Fridays
My Siamese cat, Frankie, is what I'd like to call a slut cat. He poses as if he were on the cover of Playgirl. This picture has been my phone display background for a while. I thought you'd like to see the "whore" in action:
Just look at that fuzzy belly! It's taunting you, teasing you to pet it. But don't do it! You may lose a finger.
Damn you slut cat!

I think Marty loves my purse too much
I didn't get the picture in time, but he was rubbing his face on my bag.
It's ok if my male cat loves my purse. I mean, I love my purse. I just don't drool (literally) on it or get hair in every crevasse of it!

Sleepy Children
A sleepy Marty:
and a sleepy Frankie:
I guess this is how he plans to keep his little paws off the cold snow (and why he's so sleepy!). Such a naughty fur child!
and a sleepy Frankie:
Frankie also likes to peek in on our neighbors:
